64cb4f654f Our text files were a mix of Windows encoding and Unix encoding for the line endings. While I think the Windows approach is silly, it's also more widely supported (i.e. by Notepad.exe). I've now fixed this for consistency. 
This may affect other files (source code?) as well but I'll fix that if/when I see it.

0566645c9e Mostly revert bb87e9e6280b321708f631f286b57a67343c769e to fix crash 
Using const references seemed to be causing a crash so have
changed back to just passing the function by value.

17054c6747 Removed exception specifiers from PolyVox. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/88573/should-i-use-an-exception-specifier-in-c 
They are also deprecated in C++11 anyway.

5c88f2e49f Inform SWIG of the meaning of the POLYVOX_DEPRECATED command in Linux 
If the bindings fail to build on Windows, we might need to add an
equivalent there too.
